Balea Reinigungs öl (2,60 €) already made its first appearance in my monthly favourites but both you and me wanted a separate, more detailed post. Cleansing oils have been all the rage lately and have been on my wish list for some time now. Unfortunately they were mostly unavailable in Slovenia and/or quite pricey. I was really set on trying the L'Occitane one when Balea released cleansing oil.
The packaging is simple but efficient. You get 100 ml of product in a sturdy plastic bottle with a screwed on pump dispenser. The pump dispenser doesn't leak and pumps out only a small amount of product. Usually I will use four to five pumps for my entire face.
I massage it into my dry skin, really working it in and it melts all the makeup away. It's especially great with removing waterproof mascara. You end up looking like a clown with smeared lipstick and mascara everywhere :) Then I wet my hands and rub my face again. The oil turns into a milky, slightly foamy consistency. I just wash all off with water and that's it. My skin is left clean and smooth. Since my skin is dry and dehydrated I need to follow up with some oil or cream, but I don't feel as if this cleansing oil would dehydrate my skin at all. I've been using it since mid December and I still have more than half of it. The only downside of this product is that it sometimes clouds my vision, but this disappears in a minute.
Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus Hybrid Oil, Isopropyl Palmitate, Isopropyl Myristate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Tocopherol, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
Test time! :) I used Bourjois Rouge edition Velvet in Nude-ist, Essence Lash mania False lash waterproof mascara, Essence Valentine - Who cares? 02 l.o.v.e blah blah blah smokey eyeshadow stick and Essence Liquid ink matte eyeliner.
I'm very happy with Balea Reinigungs öl and it has become a staple in my night time routine. If you're on the market for a cleansing oil, give it a try. You can always send it to me if you won't like it :)
