Fatal Blair

The title seem a bit morbid no? But don't worry, it's a happy sparkly little manicure :)

Blair is one of the new toppers from Essence. It comes paired with Chuck, but since I don't have it (yet :), I topped it over Fatal <3. Blair has small holo glitter and bigger hexagonal silver glitter in a clear base. I do kinda wish that the holo glitter would be silver too, but OK :)

This is two coats of Fatal and one coat of Blair (didn't want it to be too blingy and sparkly).

A blurry one so that you can see the holo effect:

EOTD: Too much pride + new body mod :)

Hello :)

This time I decided for a neutral make up since I had to work (my student job is quite formal and therefore rigid clothing and make up wise)..

Same stuff I always use:
- Essence Eyeshadow base (TE You rock)
- 88 palette
- Essence Smokey eyes multi action mascara
- Essence Long lasting eye pencil in black

Hate how the camera (or the skills of the person behind it :) washes out the colors.

I also have a new ''baby'', microdermal anchor on my arm. Love it so much, hope it heals well. My dad made a comment that now I match my bag and he's actually right :) I like my bag so I'll take it as a compliment, even though he didn't mean it that way :)

First attempt at scotch tape nail art :)

As the tittle says, my first tape mani. This was totally inspired by this Nailside mani. I used the same polishes, but considering this is my first time with scotch tape, I decided stripes are gonna be hard enough. It's far from perfect, but you gotta star somewhere right? ;)

Polishes I used:
- Essence Fatal (super glossy jelly black <3)
- Essence Where is the party? (amazing green violet duo, I'll definitely wear it on it's own)
- Catrice Forget me not (purple foil, whole mani coming soon also)

I topped it all with a matte topcoat, which was a mistake. Mine is a bit thick and it's starting to form white spots on my nails :/

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by **

EOTD: Obliterate my fate

Hey :)

Today I have a MU look for you and I really have problems naming these posts, so I've decided it's gonna be EOTD plus lyrics of songs that's stuck in my head currently :)
Basically it's just an easy purple look. I feel like I do purples a lot cause they go well with my eye color, but it's slowly getting boring.

Things I used (which is pretty much the same all the time :):
- Essence Eyeshadow base (TE You rock)
- 88 palette
- Essence Smokey eyes multi action mascara
- Essence Long lasting eye pencil in black

All pictures are clickable :)

Totally stealing Nihrida style again *blush*

The song for this look is Obliterate my fate by Asphyxia. Love it, but probably not everyone's cup of tea :)

Do you like colorful make up or are you more of a natural look type of person?

I'm back + NOTD

I've started to write this post so many times it's ridiculous. Blogging started to really take a lot of my time and study stuff started to pile up. As an addition my camera broke, so I kinda stopped blogging in February. I kept reading other blogs and slowly I've started to miss it. But I've been thinking so long wheter I should come back or not. A part of me was like: ''Hell, it's your blog, you can do whatever you want to do with it'', but the other part was thinking:''Well, you can't just stop and start again whenever you feel like it.''  Yeah I know, I overly complicate things :) So, looks like I'm back y'all.

Now to the fun part: nail polish :) What I'm showing you today is two coats of Rock'n'roll with black crackle, both from Essence. I put a topcoat over it, since crackle dries matte. Rock'n'roll is a silver foil with a great application (back in the days when Essence still knew how to make decent Multi dimension brushes) but is a bitch to get off, like most foils are. It gets super sparkly in the sun <3 I'm not sure it's still available though.

I kinda had problems with crackle polish at the beginning, the cracks were really small and stringy. What I've learned trough time is that I have to slap on a pretty thick coat and that the base polish needs to be completely dry, so I usually put it on after a few days to hide the tip wear (I'm a lazy bum :) or polish my nails before bed and put crackle on in the morning. Do you like crackle polishes or do you like manis without it?

Thanks for stopping by!*
