Essence - Underwater

Hello!

Another blue polish, I'm on a blueathlon apparently :) Underwater is a dusty dark blue with a lot of gray. There's some blue flakies/glitter particles in it but are mostly visible only in the bottle. Two coats, easy applications, quick drying time, very glossy and the price 1,4€ (?) for 5ml. What's there not to like :) This is also a dupe for Catrice Hip queens wear blue jeans.

Nirate

Hello!

Today's polish is a frankenpolish, called Nirate (a pirate that has ninja characteristics), it's an inside joke :) Nirate consists of S-he 427 and a dark blue polish, it's from last summer so I don't remember anymore which was it. Since we're having a couple of sunny days here and I asked you what you wanna see I decided to put it on my nails. Even though its sunny, I could make a decent photo, the holo effect is much stronger in real life :( Damn you winter sun (or is it that I suck at photos? :) Anyways, still a nice polish, can't wait for summer to wear it more. Two coats, great application.

Any tips for photographing holos?

Essence Black&White - Black out

Hello!

When I first saw the Black&White collection I was not impressed but how can a girl like me resist  buying a black polish? ;) I am glad I bought it though because it's a great one coater, a little bit on the thick side but nothing unmanageable. Black out dries very fast into a soft-touch finish, I would say plastic.

The wear is also great, after 4 days I got bored and added some glitter, S-he and Claire's and a matte top coat (yes, I was really bored :).

No name JQ eBay polish

Hello!

Well it's not exactly a no name polish since it has a name, but you know what I mean right? ;) I got this beauty from eBay and the polish on the picture was in a squared generic bottle, it didn't say Nfu.Oh or anything. When I got mine I was like: ''Knockoff much? I do think I've seen similar bottles before, you? :) Anyway, this is a nice blue one coater with a slight frost and extremely wide brush.

All photos were made with flash because it was always dark when I was at home.

And some gloves I've made for my BFF:

Have you ever had any similar experiences?

Orly - Space cadet

Hello!

If someone said to me a couple of years ago: You'll love a multichrome polish, I would called them batshit crazy......and look at me now :) Space cadet is awesomeness on crack.
This polish is from Orly Cosmic FX Fall 2010 Collection and I think they really made a good one. Space cadet is a multichrome foil with teal base. Two main colors are violet and green but there's also pink, gold, orange, blue... It reminds me of an oil spill (just a bit more ecological :) Application was OK, it dries fast. I used 3 or 4 coats since it's pretty sheer. A friend ordered it for me on eBay, it was around 11 euros. Worth every cent if you ask me.

Choosing photos was really hard, I didn't want to spam to much :)

Sporting my new ring :)

And I'm still having problems with bubbles, I'm experimenting with different combinations of base coat and top coat with drying drops.
Did you get anything from this collection?
